'Center For Urban Innovation'

The Center for Urban Innovation is a virtual R&D venture

• To TRAIN innovative cityreachers.
• To STIMULATE cityreaching innovations along the way.

• creating collaborative environments for driven Christians. (eg. this wiki)
• teaching 'New Media for Urban Change' & other 21st Century courses.
• centrally providing a 'Media Center' for City Reaching.  And now... 'Community TV' for your neighborhood.
• providing access to Community Research -- proliferating best models of community development.
• creating an 'Encyclopedia For CityReaching' -- building a collaborative knowledge-base for leaders.
• diverse citywide networking for collaborative prayer, care & share.
• creating a thought-leadership series... Great Commission Series... re-examining the biblical model for the body of Christ.
• developing an 'Indy Scorecard'... for stimulating & measuring the Great Commission in a city.
• hands-on involvement in neighborhood urban-development models.

Special Note...

We greatly appreciate the assistance of Crossroads Bible College in getting the 'Center For Urban Innovation' launched and running.  The first class of students (Fall 2007) has now  finished, and we have come to the end of the official co-venture with Crossroads.   We praise God for the college and for these new innovators being added to the citywide mix of 'driven Christians in the Racing Capital of the World'.  Crossroads' next scheduled class for 'New Media for Urban Change' will be Fall 2008.  And the Center's mission continues here online via CityReaching.org.
