What Is The Cityreaching Movement?

 

 

 

It's the Great Commission/Commandment... particularly as applied to reaching our urban/metro areas... TOGETHER.

 

 

How about this definition of 'cityreaching' from Mission America Coalition...

 

  •         "The Whole Church Taking The Whole Gospel To The Whole City."

 

Love the Lord your God with all your everything.

And as you do, love your neighbor as yourself.

Do you enjoy the Lord and His eternal life for yourself?

Then how can loving-your-neighbor want anything less?

 

'Cityreaching' simply implies "we're all in this together"... city-by-city, neighborhood-by-neighborhood.

 

And if we're all in this together... 'cityreaching' implies biblical brotherhood... unity, harmony, justice, mercy.... in TRUTH.

 

Cityreaching is being Christ's 'salt & light' to our communities... collectively & concertedly being participating agents of His justice & mercy in the here & now.
